OPEN DOORS: BOTH LOGIE KIRKS SATURDAY & SUNDAY 13/14 SEPTEMBER
For the first time this year, the two Logie Kirks are joining forces to hold a joint a joint Open Doors weekend. No need to book, just turn up on Saturday 13 September or Sunday 14 September and see what we both have to offer.
Logie Kirk (which we think of as the "new" one since it is only 220-ish years old) is a cherished part of the landscape but developments there have moved with changing times and there's a ton of fasctinating and ornate features to grab your interst.
They are open from 14:00 to 17:00 both days and, as an added incentive, tea/coffee and cake are on offer until supplies run out – we can promise they are worth getting there early for.
You'll find us a little further up the road at the Old Kirk and Graveyard where time is measured in centuries and sights on the site predate the creation of the nation of Scotland. Volunteers guides will fill you in on all the history.
Saturday 13: Tours start at 10:00 with the last setting off at 16:30.
Sunday 14: Tours start at 14:00 and again the last is at 16:30.
All free (though donations are welcome).
DOG FRIENDLY!
